Oct 2012 - The Aspergillus zonatus genome was sequenced using the Illumina platform, assembled with with AllPathsLG, and annotated with the JGI annotation pipeline and custom analyses.

 

Dec 2013 - WARNING - contamination from the bacterium S. aureus was detected and 1,476 models from the following scaffolds were demoted from the Gene Catalog:
