Status
The genome sequence and gene prediction of Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici 96224 have not been determined by the Joint Genome Institute (JGI), but were downloaded from NCBI on April 14, 2020. In order to allow comparative analyses with other fungal genomes sequenced by the JGI, a copy of this genome is incorporated into Mycocosm. We applied filters to remove if present: 1) transposable elements, 2) pseudogenes, 3) alternative transcripts and overlapping models, and 4) unsupported short models. This resulted in removal of 1,957 models from published version of the Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici 96224 genome v3.16 and generation of the FilteredModels2 gene track. All published models are available in the ExternalModels track. JGI tools were used to automatically annotate predicted proteins. Please note that this copy of the genome is not maintained by NCBI and is therefore not automatically updated. JGI tools were used to automatically annotate predicted proteins.
