Status
The Chlamydomonas schloesseri CCAP 11/173 genome sequence and gene models were not determined by the JGI, but were provided by Rory Craig in July 2020. Please note that this copy of the genome is not maintained by Rory Craig and is therefore not automatically updated. In order to allow comparative analyses with other algal genomes sequenced by the JGI, a copy of this genome is incorporated into PhycoCosm. The JGI Annotation Pipeline was used to add functional annotation to this genome.
The genome was sequenced with Illumina and PacBio, assembled by Canu, and polished by arrow and pilon. Gene prediction was performed with braker2.
