Status
[January 2023] The Fusarium avenaceum NRRL 54939 v1.0 genome was sequenced with PacBio, assembled with Flye, and annotated with the JGI Annotation Pipeline. Mitochondrial genome was assembled separately and is available in the downloads section.

Please note RNA data suffers from contamination. Data set has good
read mapping stats, but unusually low contig mapping stats. When
all reads are mapped to the zero assembly accuracy contigs, only
2.28% of reads map. Therefore a very small read percentage is
contributing to the creation of unmatched contigs. Unmapped RNA
reads are hitting organisms in the target genus and bacteria.
