Status
[May 2022] The Rhizopus microsporus ATCC11559 v2.0 genome was
sequenced with PacBio, assembled with Flye and annotated with the
JGI Annotation Pipeline. The mitochondrial genome was assembled
separately and is available in the downloads section. Compared to
the v1.0,
which was sequenced with Illumina and assembled with AllPathsLG,
this updated version provides improved contiguity through long read
sequencing, reducing # scaffolds from 595 to
79.
