Status
The finished version of Zymoseptoria tritici IP0323 (former Mycosphaerella graminicola) contains 21 chromosomes, 20 of which are represented telomere to telomere with 5 gaps and a total genome size of 39.7 Mbp. The chromosomes have been numbered 1-21, largest to smallest. A total of 13,414 gene models were predicted by INRAE (INRAE_GeneModels) from a collection of gene sets predicted by different labs (CURTIN, JGI, MPI, and RRES) and functionally annotated using the JGI annotation pipeline. Gene model tracks from different sources are available for comparison:
- CURTIN_GeneModels (Centre for Crop & Disease Management Curtin University, Australia gene Models)
- JGI_GeneModels (Joint Genome Institute gene models published in Goodwin et al, 2011)
- MPI_GeneModels (Max Planck Institute gene models published in Grandaubert et al, 2015)
- RRES_GeneModels (Rothamsted Research Experimental Station gene models)
